GirlfriendGPT: what its terms allow, what it costs, what is free

What it generates

Four outputs are documented — images, video, voice messages and chat — in realistic and anime styles, and we found no API product on the pages we read. Video runs in chat and from a still image; interface strings cap it at five seconds in one place and ten in another, so we record ten. Its blog puts a clip at 20 coins and keeps image-to-video on the Deluxe and Elite tiers.

One verification limit runs through this: the legal pages and landers are HTML and were read that way, but the FAQ, subscribe and creation screens render in the browser, so their details come from interface text.

Real people, minors and what the policy actually says

A real-person rule exists, so GirlfriendGPT keeps that check, but it is narrow: the blocked-content policy prohibits deceptive or harmful impersonation of real individuals, public figures and celebrities — misleading use, not depiction as such.

The Terms lean the other way: they assume you may supply photographs or recordings of people if you hold the consent of everyone portrayed, and the prohibited-conduct list bans featuring another individual in a photo without consent. A further clause merely warns that using a celebrity's name or image without explicit consent may infringe their rights: consent-conditioned, not fiction-only — the caveat we flag.

On minors the language leaves no room: any attempt to generate content resembling minors is prohibited and removed under its moderation procedure, characters may not be designed as underage, and its 2257 statement says no human models appear in any generated image. No vendor-run likeness program is offered, and the legacy Celebrity and Real labels survive only as tag pages that now return 404.

Uploads, face-swap and undress

This is the one box GirlfriendGPT misses, on product design rather than wording. The character builder takes an uploaded image as the avatar — the file field accepts JPG, PNG, WEBP and GIF — and asks whether to redraw it or use it as is. The advanced generator then feeds that avatar back as the base image for its Character Pro and wardrobe modes: an image-to-image path from an uploaded photograph.

Two things soften it: uploaded avatars go to a moderation review endpoint, and no face-swap or undress feature exists on the domain. Against consent-conditioned terms an upload pathway is a real gap — printed, not buried, and it costs one of seven checks. What you get for free

Two free routes are stated, neither with a number attached: a watermarked free version on the art generator page and a free trial chat session for basic features; unlimited generation needs a paid plan. No image count, credit grant or time limit is printed, so no quota. Measurable free allowances are on our free generators list.

Paid plans in practice

Three prices are printed: Basic at $5 per month, Premium at $10 for premium models and chat history, and Deluxe at $35 for all-access — Premium plus uncensored chat, and where image-to-video begins. A fourth plan, Elite — unlimited and priority access, premium exclusives, the Character Pro model and image editor — carries no price on any page we could reach.

Read the table with one caveat: those figures come from home-page structured data, while the live plans table loads from an API we could not locate, offers monthly and yearly terms with a 20% savings badge, and meters generation in coins. They were read on August 30, 2026 and may be stale, so check the subscribe screen before paying.

Age gate, moderation and privacy

The age gate is a click-through: you affirm you are over 18, and the guidelines restrict the service to adults. An optional selfie check advertised as needing no ID also exists; we did not test it. Moderation is a stated blend of human reviewers and automated tools covering accounts, characters and interactions.

Privacy has a long tail: data is kept while your account exists and for six years after you stop being a user. The blocked-content policy says what you generate sits in a private space, yet characters carry a public-or-private setting and the interface refers to a public media gallery with per-image toggles.

One thread stays open: a Cybernews editorial sat behind a challenge page, so search snippets describing a payment-processor action could not be confirmed. We found no lawsuit, regulator investigation or ban.

Who it suits — and who should look elsewhere

It suits someone who wants a cheap way into character chat with images, voice and short clips and who does not mind the avatar upload in the builder.
