Candy AI: what it makes, what it costs, what its policy says

What it generates

Four output types on one account: chat, images, video and voice. Images come from a dedicated generator or a chat request. Video is image-to-video: a generated image becomes a short clip, and a preset Build Your Video flow exists. No maximum duration is printed on any page we read; the pre-made Candy Shorts run under two minutes, but those are its catalogue, not your output. Voice means voice messages, beta voice calls and live audio. Styles are realistic and anime only, with no 3D or furry option and no API.

Real people, minors and what the policy actually says

The Blocked Content Policy of July 30, 2026 prohibits deceptive or harmful impersonation of real individuals, public figures and celebrities, and declares zero tolerance for non-consensual intimate imagery and images meant to resemble actual persons. On minors it is flat: attempting to generate content resembling a minor is strictly prohibited, flagged and removed, with a separate Underage Policy behind it.

Read the qualifiers: only deceptive or harmful impersonation and non-consensual deepfakes are named. Consented likeness is a product here — the operator runs Candy Creators, digital twins its help center says are made in direct partnership with each creator and with full consent; the public page lists seven named adult performers, plus creator cams and shorts. The Community Guidelines meanwhile keep an unqualified line against images resembling real persons, and the 2257 exemption page of February 14, 2025 still says no real individuals are portrayed.

That is why Candy AI misses check (g), no vendor-run real-person likeness program: we print the gap rather than drop the tool. As its own pages describe the program, it is licensed and made with each creator's consent — their statement, which we report rather than test.

Uploads, face-swap and undress

There is no upload path: the Blocked Content Policy states that users cannot upload or share content on the service, and we found no face-swap and no undress feature. The Premium Plus persona is text only — it describes you, not your photo.

Without a reference photo nothing can put a real face into a generated scene: that is check (c), and several ranked tools miss it — among them Lovescape, OurDream, GirlfriendGPT and PixAI. The matrix lists the rest. Undress and face-swap apps are not ranked here; see not listed.

What you get for free

The free account is a look around, not a trial of the engine: per the help center, five chat messages across all characters, one custom character and one generated image. Buttons read Join Free and Create Free Account; the home page calls it a free trial. Enough to judge the interface, not the model.

Paid plans in practice

Prices are in euros, read on August 29, 2026. The subscription page prints a per-month headline beside the amount actually charged: twelve months at €3.99 a month billed as €47.88 (badged 70% off); three months at €8.99 a month billed as €26.97; one month at €13.99. The payment sheet adds €9.79 every two weeks and €5.6 weekly; both renew automatically.

All five Premium options carry the same benefits: your own characters, 18+ images and videos, the full Live Action experience, unlimited text messages and 100 tokens a month. A Premium Plus tier appears in the help center (330 tokens a month, personas, memory slots) with no price printed publicly, so we cannot verify its cost.

Age gate, moderation and privacy

Age gate. The Underage Policy describes an 18+ affirmation on entry; we met none — the landing page and sign-up modal showed only a cookie banner and a terms line. The terms reserve the right to ask for information verifying adulthood.

Moderation. Conversations are called generally private, but automated controls flag violations; flagged and related account content may then be reviewed by the company or authorized partners, removed, the account terminated, or reported to authorities.

Privacy. The Privacy Notice of July 30, 2026 keeps account data three years after your last activity (possibly one), deletes log files after 30 days and holds financial records ten years. Videos you generate are saved under My Generations and there is no public gallery, but the terms take a broad content licence and say conversations may train models. We found no lawsuit or regulatory action against EverAI; a 2025 blog claim that it was banned is contradicted by the live site, and the FTC's September 2025 chatbot inquiry did not name it.

Who it suits — and who should look elsewhere

It suits someone who wants the companion format — chat first, with images, clips and voice attached — at a low annual price, and who is untroubled that the vendor sells licensed likenesses of real performers.

Look elsewhere if you want none of that near your subscription: four ranked tools clear all seven checks, and two of them — Secrets AI and Promptchan AI — start at $0. Look elsewhere for commercial rights, which the terms exclude, or month-to-month value: €3.99 exists only as a year up front; monthly is €13.99.
