Kupid AI: the prices, the free tier, and the two policy gaps

What it generates

Generation is first-class here, not an accessory to chat: the terms describe an app that also produces images, videos and voice notes, with separate pages for stills, text-to-video and image-to-video. Styles are realistic and anime only — no 3D, no furry — and chat, voice messages and a voice-call mode share one subscription. There is no public API.

Video runs 4 to 12 seconds, Standard or HD at 15 or 30 Coins, with an optional audio track, and a clip must start from an image you already generated. The character creator is preset-only, and generation is funded by a virtual currency called Coins; the weekly plans print their photo and video allowances per week.

Real people, minors and what the policy actually says

Kupid AI drops two checks here, and we would rather print the gap than bury it. Across the terms, privacy policy, DMCA and 2257 statement — the only four legal URLs in its sitemap, read on August 30, 2026 — we found no prohibition on depicting real people or celebrities, and no statement against sexual depictions of minors. No acceptable-use or content policy page exists at all.

What exists is reactive: a takedown route for anyone whose image rights are infringed, and an appeals address for people already depicted. The 2257 page conditions consent on uploaded content only — and the site accepts no uploads.

The age statements cover users, not depictions: account holders must be 18. The creator's age picker starts at 18, but it constrains that wizard, not free-text prompts, and the browse taxonomy carries tags labeled Teen 18+. Kupid AI runs no licensed likeness program, so it keeps that check — unlike Candy AI.

Uploads, face-swap and undress

Here it keeps a check larger platforms drop. No upload control exists in the public generator: a sweep of the image generator, both video generators and the character creator found no file input, and image-to-video only animates a picture you already made there.

There is no face swap, no digital twin and no verified-creator clone program in the marketing or the documents; such apps are not ranked here — see what we leave out. The 2257 page does describe verified uploaders who may sell content, but no such pipeline exists in the product.

What you get for free

A free tier is stated, which earns the check — but read the table, not the banner. It is 15 messages, no photos, no videos, no voice, and memory of your last 30 messages: a text sample, not a working generator.

The marketing is looser. The home signup box promises unlimited free chat, the image-generator FAQ mentions a free trial, and the creator page says no card is needed to start. Those accounts disagree, and the comparison table is the specific one.

Paid plans in practice

The default billing unit is a week, unusual on this list: Pro €12.99 a week, Ultra €24.99. A yearly tab labeled −77% restates them at €3.44 and €5.75 a week, with a footnote under the highlighted Ultra card saying it is billed as one payment of €299 a year; that footnote did not change when we selected Pro, so no annual total for Pro could be verified. A lifetime tab offers €777 once against a struck-through €5880.

The tiers differ by weekly quota — 25 photos and 8 videos on Pro against 75 and 25 on Ultra. Two caveats: a permanent Easter Discount 75% OFF banner runs a countdown that resets on every load, captured months away from Easter, so the struck-through anchors are framing rather than a standing price; and free Coins expire six months after they are credited, with all digital sales described as final.

Age gate, moderation and privacy

There is no age gate: a fresh browser gets the catalog immediately — no 18+ interstitial, modal, checkbox or ID step — and the 18+ requirement lives in the terms text alone.

Moderation is automated first: the terms say interactions are typically confidential, but that automated tools check compliance, flagged content may reach manual review, and accounts can be suspended. Privacy reads better — private by default per the creator page, no public profiles or social features — though data is usually kept six years after you close the account, and the policy still carries a template leftover naming an unrelated company. No lawsuit, breach or regulator action appears in our sources.

Who it suits — and who should look elsewhere

It suits someone who wants one companion with chat, voice, weekly-metered images and 12-second clips, no upload field anywhere near it, and a week-at-a-time commitment. The yearly tab is where the per-week figure falls furthest, and no monthly equivalent is printed, so compare deliberately.
