Nectar AI: an unqualified likeness rule and no published price

What it generates

Four outputs sit in one product: still images, video, text chat and voice. Styles are realistic and anime and stop there — no 3D, no furry — and there is no public API.

Two specifications are missing. Clip length appears nowhere on the domain: the one duration we saw, ten seconds, sits inside a third-party review quote on the landing page — not a vendor spec, so video length stays unverified. Voice is listed among the outputs, but the phone-call framing around it also comes from testimonials rather than the FAQ.

Real people, minors and what the policy actually says

Nectar is unusually tight here. Its FAQ prohibits characters based on recognizable real individuals — celebrities, public figures and private persons alike — and covers both naming a person and showing a recognizable likeness. Nothing conditions that on consent, so nothing turns the ban into a permission; the acceptable-use list in its terms agrees, treating sexual depiction of real people or near-likenesses and right-of-publicity breaches as prohibited.

Minors are covered without hedging: such content is prohibited and will not be generated, fictional and AI-generated depictions included. Nectar runs no licensed likeness program either — no verified-creator clones or vendor-sold digital twins. One dated caveat: a 2024 seed-round post marketed uncensored companions — a framing the current terms, effective August 15, 2026, avoid.

Uploads, face-swap and undress

There is no photo route into this product. Its terms state that image uploads in character creation are not permitted, and we found no face-swap feature and no undress or nudify marketing on the official domain.

That matters more than a feature line: a generator that never accepts a reference photograph cannot be aimed at a real person's picture — rule and product agree. Tools built around uploading someone's photo are not ranked at all; they sit, in their own words, on our not-listed page.

What you get for free

A free plan is stated, described by features rather than numbers: the character creator, AI chat and a limited number of image generations. Paying unlocks unlimited messaging, extended memory, HD image and video, more AI models and further customization.

Paid plans in practice

This is the one check Nectar misses, and it is a real gap: no public page prints a price. The pricing route redirects to a login wall, and no plan name, currency or billing period is readable without an account, so the pricing block below carries a note instead of a table.

One figure circulates: a third-party review quote on the landing page names five dollars a month on an annual plan — a reviewer's sentence, not a rate card. If you want the price before registering, Promptchan AI, Secrets AI and Swipey AI publish their tables openly.

Age gate, moderation and privacy

The age gate is a click-through modal — confirm you are over 18 or leave. No ID step exists; the FAQ speaks of verified users aged 18 and over but describes no method. Its documents disagree at the edges: the terms let under-18s into SFW areas; the FAQ bars them entirely.

Moderation is two-layered: automated filters plus human review — though the acceptable-use text bans scenarios involving family members while the public fantasy feed carries step-family ones.

Privacy is stated plainly: conversations and generated content are private, not shared with third parties, not used to train external AI models, and nothing is public by default. Premium memory stops when a subscription ends, paid-tier history may become inaccessible, and no retention period is set. We found no lawsuit, breach or regulator action.

Who it suits — and who should look elsewhere

It suits someone who wants a fiction-only companion with images, video, chat and voice, and who counts the written rules as part of the product.

Look elsewhere if you budget before you register, or need published specs: clip length and the free allowance are both unstated.
